Hello! And welcome to the virtual Sam Hain bookshop.

While a lot of us are probably going to be spending an inordinate amount of time confined indoors, to hopefully help pass the time - and keep entertained - through this strange period of limbo and isolation, Sam Hain - Occult Detective: Volume 1 on Kindle and as PDF ebook is reduced from £3.99 to just £1.99 (or $2.99, or 2.99€, or 5ml of hand sanitiser, or your equivalent currency). All of my novellas are also now available for just 99p as PDF ebooks and on Kindle. They're also free to read on Kindle Unlimited.

Unfortunately, with this whole global pandemic thing going on, I'm not presently able to send out physical copies of my books personally. However, if you would like a paperback edition of any of the titles below, they are all available to order on Amazon. (The Amazon links will default to .co.uk, but my books can be bought through Amazon domains internationally).

If you have any questions, please get in touch at [email protected], through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or via a telepathically-linked crystalline matrix.

I hope you are all keeping safe and well through these uncertain and unsettling times. Please look after yourselves and others, stay healthy and - if possible - stay home. And I look forward to seeing you at another event or comic con once we’re the other side of this chaos.

"Imagine Constantine written by Douglas Adams for Doctor Who, and you'll be roughly in the right area for this highly enjoyable series.  Bron James skillfully weaves a thrilling tale of private detective Sam Hain and his plucky assistant Alice as they investigate murder, magic and other paranormal events."

After leaving a party late one Halloween, Alice Carroll has a run-in with something she would much rather forget. Haunted by nightmares and visions, she tries to carry on with her life as normal, all the while feeling as if she is losing touch with reality. Meanwhile, in the abyss of some unworldly dimension, an evil is stirring, and from across the void a darkness is coming...

Far Beneath the Distant Stars

I urge whoever receives this to take note of my experiences, of the fate that befell the Endeavour and all who served aboard her, and to take heed so that the same doesn't happen again. May no-one else be forced to suffer the same fate.

Do not return to Lyrae 438b.

The Endeavour Expedition was to be a journey of discovery, carrying a crew of researchers to a world 500 light-years away. It promised to be a mission that would pave the way for the future of extrasolar colonisation. However, when members of the expedition start going missing, the crew of the Endeavour discover that something beyond their darkest nightmares lies just beneath the surface of this remote, forbidding planet...

A cosmic horror sci-fi novella set 150 years into the future, Far Beneath the Distant Stars catalogues the mission of the starship Endeavour through the logs of an exogeologist as he witnesses the fate of the expedition unfold before him.

Far Beneath the Distant Stars was voted among the top 10% of stories in Inkitt's Beyond Time Sci-fi Literature.
